This page is a place where I will list whichever makers I personally recommend. At this point I may have more than a customer/provider relationship with some of these makers. However, I will not post someone here if I do not believe their work will hold up to a hard use lifestyle. Remember, the majority of tools below are to be used for their intended purpose only. A knife is a knife and not a pry bar.

If you ask me, Ironside Edgeworks produces THE workhorse pikal knife in the industry today. The Shrike is unmatched in design and intent. Such an aggressive blade in such a concealable package. That said, my personal favorite blade produced by this outfit is the Sin Eater.

Great tools for the budget conscious practitioner. Notice I didn’t say cheap. There is nothing cheap about a tool from Ribsplitter Knifeworks. These pieces are affordable for what they are, hand ground tools on mostly antique industry steels.
